About Me
if you are reading this, perhaps you're looking to know the source of my motivation, my story and how I came to do what I do for living.

In my heart, since I can remember, I've always felt a deep connection to life, to nature and to the unknown mystery behind all living things.
In my mid twenties I made London my home, and then travelled the world in search of deeper answers.

I grew up in a open-minded family, where conversations about beliefs, philosophies and ways of accepting the world and seeing it were completely free, everything could be accepted and respected. The walls of my house were decorated with hundreds of books, many of them caught my curiosity: Buddha, Comfucius, Laotse, Nietzche, Freud, Kibalion, Mahabharata, Patanjali,...among many others. Books that talked about the potential of the mind to cure, and it's connection with the divine, the power of pranayama and meditation, and so many other.

I guess that together with my youth an a healthy curiosity, I developed the need to look beyond the common answers to life, mind and health. I knew deeply that there was much more behind everything life taught me, or at least that's how I felt!

So here was my first encounter with yoga. Sitting still? What? Doing nothing? Such an uncomfortable beginning, I thought.
Then breathing...what?, everyone breathes - such a silly command!

I was quickly frustrated when the physical elements didn't really kick in, struggling to concentrate and combine the poses and the annoying demand again and again. I just wanted to finish and go home, but decided to give up my minds chatter and give my best to the practice and the teacher.
When I was walking home, I noticed over time, a truly calmed mind and an enormous sense of lightness in my steps. Then I understood, the heaviness I left behind in that yoga class was the heaviness of my thoughts, of my dramas, excitements and my fears too. This was the beginning of a new understanding, a remembering perhaps.

It was 1998 when I understood that life was taking me for a ride. I couldn't stop the flow of that spiritual energy. Few years after, I found myself travelling to Asia and India in search of deeper understanding and experiences. Since then, I continue to live from my truth.
I bow in gratitude to the essence and the experience of life, to my teachers and my gurus, those who showed me the way through dogma, and those who taught me not to follow any dogma and find my inner truth.

And now I want to tell you about my passion for fitness and exercise . . . My love for life led me to want to enrich my knowledge of the body and its health.
Here and in the UK and Barcelona I began my studies in fitness, personal training, pilates, nutrition and more, I have in mind to continue enriching my path here as much as in yoga.
For twelve years, I have travelled to india every year to enrich my knowledge of Yoga and Ayurveda.
And I hope to continue doing so, for the rest of my life!
Mission
As a holistic approach, the mission is to make you see that you are unique, and thus understand and apply fundamental principles in nutrition and daily habits; Finding the right way to generate movement in the body and balance energies. Approaching this work through yoga, pilates, weight training, functional training, etc.
Together we get to know your needs and capabilities, your limitations and weaknesses, your strengths and your unique way of enjoying a healthier and more fulfilling life.
At the mental level, it is important to understand that we will never be able to truly meditate if our head is full of 'our things'.
The way we talk to ourselves and to the outside world can often be very toxic and it can influence our health and our relationship with daily life.
Culture, religion, habits, destructive patterns, addictions, can have a huge impact on our mental state and self-esteem.
My mission here is, to show you the way to bring the mind to a more equanimous state. Approaching this work through pranayama, Dharanas and meditative practices.
Vision
In my vision I see that everything is interconnected, like a wonderful network.

The fifty trillion cells that give us form, are working in unity, forming harmonious communities, giving life to the organs and the systems of the body. The body affects the mental state, and the mental state is reflected in the body.
Above both, there is the power of intention, that's the will power! The greatest treasure of our existence, if we use it correctly. The energy we project affects and influences people and life in our environment, and the environment and people also affect and influence us!

There is a divine intelligence behind this life of ours, a memory in our existence and in the existence of all we see.
It is important to accept ourselves, knowing that we are unique. Finding the balance between the noisy, active mind, and spaces of silence and stillness.

These simple ancient practices of meditation and relaxation, hold the key to living a more meaningful and peaceful life.
